Cappadocia hot-air ballooning is of great experience over the lunar landscape of the region. Depending on the weather reports almost every summer day it is very common to see tens of balloons drifting over the hills of Kapadokya. Hot air balloons, ballooning, Cappadocia or Kapadokya ballooning have become identified with this amazing land of nature.
The organizers start the day very early in the morning about dawn time when the air is in the most suitable state, cool, to permit the uplift. You will be picked up from your hotel around 4:30 AM and driven to the site where you will be served your Cappadocian breakfast. While the pilot is getting ready his balloon you will enjoy your breakfast before approx one hour long adventure. To mark the end of your adventure organizers hold a champagne and certificate presentation reception at the starting point before you are driven back to your hotel around 8:30 AM.

A hot-air balloon flight in Cappadocia is unique from all other experiences of flight as there is no sensation of motion. Traveling at heights of up to 1500 feet, the feeling is one of peace and tranquility. Within moments after lifting off you become at ease while you effortlessly drift over the tree tops and the spectacular lunar landscape, cut by deep canyons and lush fertile valleys. Gentle winds drift you over the chimneys and pinnacles that could never be reached except by balloon. Ballooning can be such fun! In the season you can even pick apricots from the trees around as you gently float over them.
