DAY 1 FLY FROM ISTANBUL TO DALAMAN

Transfer from Dalaman Airport to Dalyan. Settle in a local hotel.

DAY 2 VISIT TO ANCIENT KAUNOS

Either by trekking or by boat we get to Kaunos. By trekking, we walk over a hill to the bay of Ekincik then to its unspoilt beach. Access by road is difficult so most visitors arrive by boat. After we get to Kaunos we explore the ancient ruins: Roman Baths, Acropolis, harbour and many other ruins, including a Medieval castle.

If we choose the road we walk through the pine forests and enjoy the splendor of the green and the dramatic coastline and arrive in Ekincik. We have the opportunity to relax and swim in the azure crystal waters. We return back by local boat. This will take about one and a half hours along the rugged coastline, sailing around Iztuzu beach and along the river under the ancient rock tombs return to Dalyan.

DAY 3 JEEP SAFARI (optional)

From Dalyan we drive through forests before climbing up Boga Dagi, elevation 2000 meters. As we move on over the high plateau and pass the village, Agla we enjoy the view and the wilderness of the nature: flora and fauna of the region. We stop by a small lake where we have lunch. In the springtime wildflowers are superb. We stay the night in our tents on the high plateau under stars of Mediterranean. WE will have camp fire and barbecue.

OVERNIGHT IN DALYAN

DAY 4 RAFTING (optional)

Rafting at Akkopru, which is a small village on the Dalaman river. The river itself is known as the most popular for white water rafting inSouthern Turkey. It flows all the year round, very challenging in the rainy seasons.

DAY 5 MOUNTAIN BIKING (optional)

From Akkropru we cycle through 50 km of scenic landscapes and traditional Turkish villages to return to Dalyan.

OVERNIGHT IN DALYAN

After the end of your stay in Turkey you will be transferred back to the airport for your departure.
