Termessos is the ancient settlement in Antalya Province, 30 Km North-West of Antalya, map of location. Although Termessos is mentioned in the Iliad, no real concrete evidence appears until 334 BCE when Alexander the Great passed through the region. The city boasts a theater, a stoa, an Agora, the foundations of a temple of Artemis, the temple of Zeus and an odeon, among others.
