This is the highest hill in the city on the Asian side with outstanding views day and night, a unique and pleasant warm atmosphere especially for the newly engaged couples.
This pine covered hill has been the subject of inspirations for many poets who have found peace and tranquility. There are several pavilions and cafes placed in the beautiful setting of the hill decorated in the Ottoman style. The hill has an elevation of 262 meter, the second hill called Small Camlica is of 229 meters elevation.
Every year in September and October bird watching enthusiast gather to watch migrating birds flying over the city.
